Our Products

What products does Gaia & Mai offer?

We currently offer three hero products: LIFT (Volume Spray, 250ml), CARE (Leave In Conditioner, 250ml), and SILK (Argan Oil, 30ml). You can also shop The Ritual, our complete bundle containing all three. Each product is designed to work beautifully on its own or together as a full hair ritual.

What hair types are Gaia & Mai products suitable for?

All of our products are formulated for every hair type. Whether your hair is straight, wavy, curly, thick, fine, colour-treated, or anything in between, our range is designed to deliver results. We believe great hair is for everyone.

Are your products free from harsh chemicals?

Yes. Our formulas are free from sulphates, parabens, and silicones. We use clean, lightweight ingredients including keratin and plant proteins to strengthen and add shine, zinc and botanical extracts to support scalp health, and biotin and silica to reduce breakage. Every product is designed to be effective without compromising on what goes in it.

Can I use these products every day?

Absolutely. Our products are lightweight and gentle enough for daily use. LIFT and CARE are ideal for your morning routine, while SILK can be used daily or as needed for added nourishment and finish. The full ritual is designed to fit seamlessly into your everyday.

How do I use each product?

LIFT (Volume Spray): Mist onto damp or dry hair, focusing on the roots, and style as usual for added lift and body. CARE (Leave In Conditioner): Apply to damp, towel-dried hair from mid-lengths to ends. No rinsing required. Style as normal. SILK (Argan Oil): Apply a few drops to damp or dry hair to smooth, add shine, and tame frizz. A little goes a long way.

What is The Ritual bundle?

The Ritual is our complete set containing LIFT, CARE, and SILK. It is the best way to experience the full Gaia & Mai routine and represents a saving compared to buying each product individually. It also makes the perfect gift.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

We are committed to clean, ethical formulations. Please refer to the individual product pages for the most up-to-date information on our vegan and cruelty-free credentials. If you have a specific question, please reach out to us at hello@gaiaandmai.com.

How long will each product last?

As a guide, LIFT (250ml) and CARE (250ml) last approximately 6 to 8 weeks with daily use. SILK (30ml) is highly concentrated and a few drops per application means it typically lasts 2 to 3 months. Results may vary depending on hair length, thickness, and frequency of use.

ORDERS & PAYMENTS

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our website, add your chosen products to your basket, and proceed to checkout. Payment is processed securely and you will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as your order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Can I amend or cancel my order after placing it?

We process orders quickly, so we cannot guarantee amendments or cancellations once an order has been placed. If you need to make a change, please contact us at hello@gaiaandmai.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to help before your order is dispatched.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as your purchase is complete. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a second email with your tracking information.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through a fully encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card details at any point.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We hope to expand to further regions in the future, so keep an eye on our social channels for updates.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery typically takes 1 to 2 business days from the date of dispatch. Express delivery options may be available at checkout. Please allow an extra 1 to 2 business days for deliveries to more remote areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Islands.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free standard delivery on all UK orders over a qualifying threshold. Standard delivery charges apply to orders below this amount. All shipping costs are displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking email with a link to monitor your delivery in real time. If you have not received your tracking email within 2 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at hello@gaiaandmai.com.

What happens if I am not home when my order is delivered?

In most cases, the courier, DPD,  will leave a card with instructions to rearrange delivery. DPD will normally call 2-3 times.. Your tracking link will provide the most up-to-date information on the status of your delivery.

My order has not arrived. What should I do?

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please first check your tracking link for the latest update. If you are still unable to locate your parcel, please contact us at hello@gaiaandmai.com with your order number and we will investigate as a priority.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What is your returns policy?

We want you to love your Gaia & Mai products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return unopened, unused products within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Please note that opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless they are faulty.

How do I start a return?

To initiate a return, please email hello@gaiaandmai.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Our customer care team will guide you through the process. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

How long do refunds take?

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process your refund within 5 to 7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the credit.

What if my product arrives damaged or faulty?

We are really sorry if this has happened. Please contact us at hello@gaiaandmai.com within 48 hours of receiving your order, including a photograph of the damage or fault and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible.

Do I have to pay for return postage?

If your product is faulty or was sent in error, we will cover the cost of return postage. For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.
